We have been busy during this time, completing some projects that have been our list of things to do! In addition to some new signage out on the road, and some new furniture in the tasting room (hopefully you can all sit in it sometime soon!), we refreshed our website!
The website is your one-stop for all things Zenaida. If there is an issue over here regarding whatever the newest disaster may or may not be, we can put a notice up easily on the front page. Reservations for tasting can be made on the website and wine can be ordered. You can also login in to your wine club account and update any shipping changes that may come up or put in your new credit card information.
Wine club members can find the availability for our accommodations on the Club page.
We are pretty happy with the clean up of the website and we hope you find it easy to navigate for all of your Zenaida needs!
Current Tasting Set-up
If you have not heard, we are currently allowed to offer wine tastings, outdoors - food is not a current requirement. Fortunately for us, we have a lovely patio that is now shaded with shade sails, in addition to our grand oak tree. Reservations are also a requirement for tastings. Here is what to expect when you make a tasting reservation with us:
You arrive to the winery at the time of your reservation or just before. You don your required face covering and make your way to the barrel hostess podium (weekends) or to the tasting room door (weekdays). One of us, will greet you and confirm your reservation (trust me, we are smiling under our masks and are very happy to see you!) and show you to your table, where you will enjoy your seated tasting on the patio. Once at the table, you will be able to remove your face covering. However, if you get up to move about the property or use the restroom, you will need to put your face mask back on.
Once seated, we will bring you a bottle of chilled water and our flight menu. We are currently offering 3 flights of wine for tasting: the Mixed Flight, includes our two white wines and two red wines; the Rhone Flight which is four of our Rhone varietals; and lastly our Deep Purple Flight which includes most of our estate grown wines.
Our tasting room staff will take your flight order and then will begin with your first wine on the flight. The tasting will proceed from there. At the end of your tasting, you can fill out the order sheet and our staff will pack your order. We will ring you up on our new mobile point of sale system at your table, and send you on your way with your wine.
We have been loving our new tasting format and hope that you do too!
See you soon at the winery.
